The Team
William Lawmann
iBall Founder and Senior Coach
Will is a qualified Basketball Coach who has almost 20 years experience. Since winning an Adidas 3 on 3 which was watched by Michael Jordan’s teammate ‘Scott Williams’ many years ago, his love and involvement in the game has only grown and grown. He is passionate about growing the enjoyment of the game throughout Croydon and beyond and has a clear vision of how that development through, schools, local leagues, and tournaments, will develop.
Jaden Gonzales
iBall Academy Director
Jaden is a qualified Basketball Coach and is currently furthering his study into Basketball coaching. He brings several years of one-to-one coaching and competitive playing experience to our sessions. Jaden’s love of the Game developed Basketball as a growing sport at his secondary school and has since been an asset to iBall’s development.
Naseya Sparrow
iBall Senior Coach and Coordinator
‘Nas’ is a qualified Basketball Coach and brings years of Basketball experience from Club level competition in the competitive Australian Basketball leagues. She also has solid experience of coaching Basketball to people of all abilities and her enthusiasm and love of the game energises her sessions. iBall is fortunate to have her as a valued member of the team.
Omari Gonzales
iBall Trainer and Assistant coach
Omari is an experienced training assistant who has years of UK club level Basketball under his belt. He is diligent and pays attention to small details to ensure his clients receive as much knowledge, information and value as possible.
Dimitrios Raptis
iBall Senior Coach and Coordinator
Dimitrios is a senior Basketball Coach and former Greek semi professional Division 3 'B Basket League' player. He brings several years of academy coaching and competitive playing experience to the team. Having gained a Bachelor degree in Sports Science and a post graduate diploma in Strength and Conditioning he specializes in personal development and conditioning.
Marc Aikpinnou
iBall Senior Coach and Academy Lead
Marc is one of our most experienced coaches and heads up our academy. He brings years of playing experience to the team having enjoyed years playing in the BBL before injury cut short his playing career. He is currently an academy coach at the London Lions and coaches the UEL 2nd Team.
Mohammed Rahman
iBall Trainee Assistant
'Sid' is one of our trainee assistants who is passionate about the training and development of the next generation of ballers. He played Basketball at secondary school level for many years and has transitioned his passion of playing the game into grass root development for children.
Aaron Lawmann
iBall Senior Coach and Coordinator
Aaron is a qualified Basketball Coach who has over 10 years Basketball training experience and has previous experience of working with children within schools as a teaching assistant. He has played Basketball at club level in the UK and junior college level in the USA. Further to this he holds the Level 2 British Basketball Coaching Certificate. It is great to have him as part of the team.
Elliot Penegar
iBall Junior Training Assistant
Elliot is one of our Junior training assistants who is an athletically gifted Basketball player with several years playing for his secondary school Basketball Team. As well as studying 4 Advance Level subjects at sixth form, Elliot is also developing Basketball skills in coaching and training with iBall.
Roosevelt Davis
iBall Senior Coach
Roosevelt has several years basketball coaching and playing experience behind him. He played professionally for the Manchester Giants for a season before moving abroad to Italy for a year at Virtus PSG basketball club. His ability to apply his playing experience in his sessions brings something different to our team.
Jenna Bennet
iBall Social Media Advisor
Jenna brings over 7 years of social media experience in Canada to iBall. Her creative and artistic skills have helped iBall to thrive in numerous ways and we’re excited to have her on board.
Jessica Beeler
iBall Senior Coach
Jessica is a NCAA certified coach with several year playing experience both in the USA (college level) and the UK. With a master’s degree in Sports Psychology, she is passionate about personal growth and development and works on strengthening the mind and mental attributes required for getting the best performance from her students.
Mauro Sbano
iBall Senior Coach
Having played Basketball in Italy for over 10 years, Mauro is very experienced and knowledgeable about the game. He has coached children academies and is driven in coaching the fundamentals using fun and engaging exercises. Maura is a very welcome addition to the team.
Brandon Palmer
iBall Senior Coach
Brandon is a big personality on and off the court, he has several years playing experience in his native USA (Baltimore) and the UK – where he honed a lot of his game after arriving as a teen. He is motivated in passing on core fundamentals and prides himself on getting maximum engagement and effort from his students. His love of the game is clear for all who experience his coaching to see and is a welcome addition to the iBall team.
Brenda Kipewu
iBall Senior Coach
After several year playing professionally in France and the UK Brandahas turned her talents into coaching. Brenda is an accomplished coach with over 5 years of personal development experience. Spend 5 minutes with Brenda and you will see he obvious basketball talent, but even more remarkable is her ability to break down any skillful move and teach it to you.
